Fundraise, volunteer, or just participate in the AIDS Walk New York taking place on May 20 in Central Park. The Walk benefits GMHC and 40 other HIV/AIDS service organizations in the tri-state area. Starting at the 59th Street and 5th Avenue entrance, the walk is 6.2 miles of pure gratification as you walk to help others, meet new people, and become part of something great. Every year celebrity personalities like Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Whoopi Goldberg, and Joan Rivers come out to help raise funds to help people with HIV/AIDS.
